We’d like to send our congratulations to the SERT Suzuki team for dominating the Le Mans 24 hour race last weekend, with their bikes recording a superb 1-2 finish. William Costes, Guillaume Dietrich and former Alstare Engineering rider Max Neukirchner took the chequered flag, just one minute and twenty seconds ahead of their team mates Vincent Phillippe, Julien da Costa and Matthieu Lagrive. All this after 818 laps!
In fact, this year’s Le Mans 24 hour race was a great day for Suzuki because they not only dominated the Superbike class, but they also won the Superstock and Superproduction classes. Anthony Delhalle, Emeric Jonchiere and Freddy Foray won the Superstock category for the Suzuki Junior team and firemen David Briere, Stephane Moliner and Guillaume Pialoux won the Superproduction class. All in all, a great weekend for Suzuki and the GSX-R1000.
