This weekend, the European Suzuki GSX-R Cup circus travels to Valencia and joins the WSBK paddock for the first race of the 2007 six round championship aimed at discovering the stars of tomorrow. As the start of the season approaches, the final entry list for the Championship - organised in collaboration with the Alstare Group - has been finalized, together with the names of the Valencia ‘wild cards’.

A couple of changes have been made to the permanent entry list published in the last news - some names have been added and some deleted. As far as the changes are concerned, the British team are without Alex Gault since the Auto Cycle Union (Britain’s governing body of Motorcycle sport) has declared the 17 year old too young to take part in the Cup. He will be replaced by Scotland’s Jimmy Storrar.

In 2007, the European GSX-R Cup also opens its doors to other continents as a bike wearing the Argentinean flag, ridden by Matis Willy Perez, will be present at all six races.

The final entry list for the 2007 GSX-R Cup will see the following riders do battle in Valencia (15/04), Assen (29/04); Silverstone (27/05), Misano (17/06), Lausitz (09/08) and Magny-Cours (07/10):
