- Saturday's qualifying session for the Spanish Grand Prix ended with the closest top ten in MotoGP history.
At the conclusion of the Jerez hour, just 0.325secs separated pole sitter Dani Pedrosa from tenth placed Kenny Roberts Jr.
The top four riders were covered by just 0.084secs, while the top 15 were all within one second of pole. In total, 1.817secs separated Pedrosa from last placed qualifier Sylvain Guintoli.
The 20 rider MotoGP grid contains six different types of machine, two different engine configurations (inline four and V4) and three different tyre suppliers. Crash | |
