- Team Pedercini will debut young rider Luca Morelli in World Superbikes. The rider from Campania who rode in the 250 GP Team Angaia last year has a been set target to learn the ropes during the first rounds, aiming to reach good results during the latter part of the season. This move marks a turning point in Morelli’s career. After having collected many trophies in several classes (such as 125 SP, 125 GP and 250 GP) he has chosen to move into the world of four-stroke motorcycles, and he has done it in style, diving straight into the world championship. The Italian rider will join Brit Dean Ellison, completing the traditional formation of Team Pedercini in the Superbike World Championship, where it has always been present with at least 2 riders.
